Oral GLP-1 works in the body in the same way as GLP-1 injections, but is taken as a daily tablet.

Just like the injectable variant, oral GLP-1 ensures more stable blood sugar, slows gastric emptying, and signals your brain that you are full sooner. You naturally eat less, making it easier to lose weight.
Daily tablet
One tablet per day, at a fixed time and on an empty stomach. Regularity is especially important here; your Aevita nurse will guide you in taking it correctly.

Does a tablet work just as well as an injection?
Studies show up to 17% weight loss with the latest generation of oral GLP-1, and 15 to 22% with injections.* The tablet is effective, but the result depends strongly on proper medical supervision and positive lifestyle adjustments. At Aevita, we combine these as standard in every program.
How should I take the tablet?
The tablet is taken on an empty stomach (at least 6 hours after the last meal), with a small glass of water (120 ml). Afterwards, wait at least 30 minutes before eating, drinking, or taking other medication. Your Aevita nurse will discuss this in detail at the start of your treatment.
Can I switch from injection to tablet?
In many cases, switching is possible. This depends on your current treatment, dosage, and results. An Aevita doctor will assess whether and how a switch can be made responsibly.
What are the side effects?
The most common side effects are nausea, stomach upset, and decreased appetite, similar to the injectable form. These occur mainly during the build-up phase and usually decrease. Your nurse monitors this and adjusts the dosage if necessary.
How much does treatment with the tablet cost?
The exact price will be announced at the launch. Aevita uses an all-in rate: intake, guidance, medication, and delivery are included. Registered participants will be notified first.
