My story

My name is Ruben; I’m a nutritionist and lifestyle coach with a passion for helping people achieve better health and a higher quality of life. During my training and professional experience as a dietitian, I have supported people with a wide range of health concerns. It struck me how many people struggle with being overweight for years, often despite multiple attempts to lose weight. As I do enjoy a challenge, this has further fuelled my interest in sustainable weight management.

In my clinical practice, I have seen how effective GLP-1 medication can be when lifestyle changes alone do not yield sufficient results; however, without proper attention to diet and lifestyle, a significant proportion of the health benefits are lost and risks arise.

That is why I offer this support at Aevita. I believe that people achieve the best results when medication is combined with professional nutritional and lifestyle guidance. This approach focuses not only on weight loss, but also on developing habits that contribute to better long-term health.

That is why I support clients not only with weight loss, but also with optimising their diet, muscle maintenance, exercise and lifestyle. The aim is for the results to be visible not only on the scales, but also to lead to increased energy, better health and greater confidence in your own body. Together, we will work on a personalised plan that suits your situation and is designed to deliver lasting results.

Personal

As well as my work as a dietitian, I enjoy keeping active. I love sporting challenges and enjoy pushing myself both physically and mentally, whether at the gym, out running, or training for sporting events.

At the same time, I believe that a healthy lifestyle is also about balance and enjoying life. For example, I love barbecuing, eating out, travelling and spending quality time with friends and family.

That is precisely why I don’t believe in strict diets or an all-or-nothing approach. A healthy lifestyle should fit in with real life and leave room for the things that make life enjoyable.
